Enjoy the beach in a rented beach chair, with your own beach shell or under a parasol. Children enjoy the beach that slopes gently into the water. The routes \"Maritime\" (61km), \"Culture\" (58km) and \"Nature\" (60km) even lead directly through Sch\u00f6nberger Strand. The \"Straw Figure Route\" (54km, only July\/August) starts in the neighbouring town of Sch\u00f6nberg (3km).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>external pdf-download:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.probstei.de\/files\/downloads\/Flyer_Folder_usw\/FL_Probstei_Rad_2023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cycle routes in the Probstei<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>But you can also plan your own route. Towards the west you can cycle about 25km along the east coast of the Kiel bay via Heidkate, Wendtorf, Stein, Laboe, Heikendorf and M\u00f6ltenort to the outskirts of the port of Kiel. Along the way you will find numerous cafes and restaurants for a rest. In eastern direction you can cycle about 8km along the Baltic Sea to Hohenfelde.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Horse riding<\/strong>&nbsp;- There are numerous riding-stables in the area, one of them about 300m away from our holiday home.
