Arrive by public transport
The reopening of the train connection between Kiel main station and Schönberger Strand ("Hein Schönberg") is in planning. Until then, the following travel options are available.
from Kiel Main Station (Hauptbahnhof)
From there take express bus ('Schnellbus'; external link): Schnellbus 200/201; Connection ca once per hour to Schönberger Strand (the local bus stop is ca 25m from the holiday house)
from Hamburg Airport (HAM)
Option 1: take the "Kielius" long distance coach (external link:"Kielius" long distance bus) from Hamburg airport (HAM) airport to Kiel (central station) (about once an hour) and from there either
- by taxi (book in advance the discounted Kielius combination fare "City fern") or
- by express bus ('Schnellbus'; external link): Schnellbus 200/201; Connection ca once per hour to Schönberger Strand (the local bus stop is ca 25m from the holiday house)
Option 2: by taxi (external link: „Vineta“ or “Mare Taxi”) directly from the airport (HAM) to the holiday house (at fixed prices with significant discounts on standard taxi fares)
